Maybe some dreams can wait ...

Maybe some dreams can wait ... maybe, maybe not ...

I used to dream that I'd make it to graduate school but that dream has to take a back seat when I married and had a child. No regrets though. Then I thought, I'd like to go to culinary school, only when we are financially ready for it ...

Then I had this dream, I thought I want it for myself. It may not mean anything to others though. But like some of my dreams, this has to take a back seat too ... for the meantime? I don't know. Maybe.

My only fear is that some dreams may be gone for good ...

Anyway, enough of that. I'll leave you with a layout I made months ago ...

I was inspired to make this layout after seeing a similar one at two peas. I thought I can make a layout just like that using these two I.D. pictures. I've been wanting to scrap these; it's such a waste not to, right? I love how this turned out.

materials used: Bam Pop, Junkitz, BasicGrey alpha stickers, American Crafts felt, embroidery floss, buttons, Uniball Signo pen, Zig Writer pen

Hi Pia. I thought I'd share this with you, it's by Art E. Berg and he said: "I have decided that my present circumstances did not mean I have to let go of my dreams. Dreams are never destroyed by circumstances. Dreams are born in the heart and mind and only there can they ever die. But while the difficult takes time, the impossible just takes a little longer."
Cheers to your dreams and their coming true :-)

Love your layout, as usual. :D

It's never too late to make your dreams happen Pia. Maybe you are postponing some because of current circumstances, but that doesn't mean you have to let them go for good.

I also have dreams that I have postponed a bit but I have no plans of letting them go. I have an inspiration in a family friend. She had been practicing medicine for almost two decades but her dream was to become a lawyer. At 40+, with her kids already in teens, she went to law school to fulfill that dream. She is now a lawyer, 5 days a week (M-F). On Saturdays, she practices medicine.

:D

Just hang on to your dreams, Pia!!! Bata ka pa at marami ka pang panahon. Sabi nga nila, kung di uukol, di (pa) bubukol... Just keep on dreaming. Oh, and I super love your "blink" LO! Pa-scraplift ha....

ay senti ang lola ko...hindi bale maganda pa rin naman ang layout mo...

tungkol naman sa unfulfilled dreams, eto naman ang masasabi ng isang nakatatanda (ng konti lang...hehehe) marami na akong naging dreams, some went unfulfilled too but ALWAYS fate presents me with something that turns out better than i originally planned. so have faith that you will ALWAYS be dealt with the cards that were meant for you. all you have to do is play those cards well.

so go and chase after your dreams sis! kung nahuli mo, bravo! but even if you don't catch them you just might end up where you were meant to be. remember, happiness is a choice.

Thanks to all those who left messages !

Perhaps it was just one of those days when you feel so low and that your dreams are no longer within your reach. But I must agree with you Sheryl, Alby, Maybs, Bjay, and Au! Oo nga naman, nandyan lang yung mga pangarap ko : ) Hay naku you have no idea how you've lifted my spirit because of your messages! Maraming salamat!
