Kiss

This is my entry for Lasting Impressions' Webster's Challenge. For this layout, I tried going out of my comfort zone - I didn't use buttons and didn't do any doodling. Instead I tried stamping and watercolor pencil painting. I love how the layout turned out!

materials used: Webster's Ting-a-Ling (Peppermint Snowfall), Winter (Wonderland Strabright and Twinkle), Webster's rub ons, other papers used: Jenni Bowlin and BasicGrey Fruitcake; chipboard: BG, Cosmo Cricket; stamps; Autumn Leaves, Sassafras and Paper Salon; ink: Clearsnap; pen: Zig; ribbon, Around the Block, Faber Castell watercolour pencil

hidden journaling: Ethan, you really know how to Kiss a girl - the puckered lips say it all! You and Bianca are simply too cute and adorable together. I'm happy this moment has been captured by daddy on camera!

Pure Love

I finished this layout first week of February. After reading several CK magazines, I was so inspired to try out the different techniques I have read. For this layout, I tried what Jennifer Maguirre did with buttons, I sew embroidery floss making a heart shape. But look at those heart shapes - mukhang cat ears hehehe! I couldn't help but laugh on myself when I saw the cat ears LOL!

I also tried sewing on felt - I think okay naman di ba? : )

Thanks for looking!
