Daisy Bucket Sneak Peek

I just want to share with you some of the new stuff coming from Daisy Bucket Designs at the Winter CHA!

UNDER THE BOARDWALK COLLECTION

SUMMER COTTAGE COLLECTION

LOVE YOU COLLECTION

I'd be posting the last of the four new collection in a few days. That one is definitely my favorite. My initial reaction when I saw it was - "it's very me" hehehe!

There'll be new Clearly Petite Stamp Elements and Paper Ribbons Elements too! Daisy Bucket will also introduce Velvet Elements and Design It Yourself Tag Elements! Watch out for it! I myself, could no longer sleep because I couldn't stop thinking of the papers - I feel so silly!

Groovy Baby

I did this layout for Scrapbukan using BasicGrey Obscure. I personally picked BG Obscure for my Scrapbukan kit the moment I saw it. I already had a photo in mind for this but as soon as I started working with the papers, I found myself stumped for several hours! I wanted to knock my head for picking the papers LOL! Several attempts to finish the layout proved to be futile. I couldn't remember how long I put this layout aside before I got to finish it. I wanted to jump for joy when I did!

Guess who's in the picture? ; ) I like how the papers match the 70's (now I'm giving away clues!). The title won't be complete without a little doodling here and there - I don't know how will I ever control my hands to do this hehehe.

I was able to create two more layouts using the same line and I can finally say how much I've learned to love Obscure! Will be sharing the next two layouts as soon as they're up at the Scrapbukan site!

Thanks for looking!

Holiday Kwentos Part 2

I'm super late with my holiday kwentos! Anyway, here's the continuation ...

Aside from the SE and PS joint Christmas party, we (my scrapping friends) also had a mini Christmas party at Ria's place last Nov. 30. I failed to get copies of the party photos. But I was so happy to bring home the Tote-ally Cool organizer bag from the "agawan" exchange gifts!

After the party, Jeff and Ethan followed at Ria's place - for our "annual" Christmas photo shoot hahaha! Ang ganda kasi ng house ni Ria - complete with all the Christmas decors: a big tree, Christmas toys, presents all wrapped up! Abuso ba kami? hehehe. Anyway, here's my favorite photo of the many photos Jeff and Meng took that evening.

Ang cute cute nila Bianca and Ethan, di ba? ; )

I'm currently scrapping this photo and will share it with you once I'm done.

Last Dec. 23, we watched the Barney show. After the show, we saw this huge Christmas tree infront of the coliseum. Ethan was so delighted when he saw this tree. Of course, there will always be some picture taking ; )

We had "Noche Buena" in BiƱan, Laguna. This year, we have Tita Chay, Karissa all the way from U.S. and Tito Tic, Tita Mel, Josh and J.D. from Ireland! It's so wonderful having them for the holidays. This rarely happens coz Tita Chay only visits the Philippines every 4 or 5 years!

Jeff and I decided to bring the chocolate fountain which became the "star" of the feast (instead of the hamon Nanay Cora made for us hehehe!) Kids and adults alike love the fondue!

Ethan did not sleep the whole time until it was already 3:00 am! He had a grand time, eating fondue, playing the games (even though he couldn't really join hehehe) and opening his gifts! This is the best photo Jeff captured that evening:

Ethan had this gift from us! It's his wish for Christmas; he would always tell us to buy this thing that he describes as "yung nag-oopen"!

Well, I think that's about it... my short recap of some of the most memorable and wonderful things that had happened in our lives during the holidays. : )

Scenic Route December Challenge

Yay! I won in the Scenic Route December Product Challenge! What a way to start the new year.

I was supposed to write about the second part of my holiday kwento but I got this good news from Layle of Scenic Route so I figured out my kwento can wait! Thanks Layle for this! I can't wait to get my prize package from SR which Layle said is their newest line of papers!

My layout, "4 Years" is extra special for me because I made this for our wedding anniversary and with it has one of the most treasured photo of Jeff and me!

I thought this layout will never make it to the SR gallery because it has a number of materials from other manufacturers hehehe. The pasaway in me of course, insisted I use the stuff I want on my layout. Nevermind if I don't win - I got my prize already! Jeff would stare at my layout for a loong time and would tell me how much he loves my work!

I drew the frame around the photo which is so much fun to do! I also drew the scallop mat and trimmed it. I'm loving the fabric paint I got from Scrapbukan too! Notice all those dots on the layout? Those are paint! I'm still learning though how to write using that medium.

Holiday Happenings Part 1

I'm back!!! Yes, I'm still alive, a little crazy though! First, I'd like to greet everyone a Happy New Year!

Now, for the recap on some holiday happenings ...

Jeff and I celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary last Dec. 14! We didn't go out on a date though because we have work to do on that day hehehe. Jeff was the photographer for a Christmas party while I provided the choco fountain that evening - well, atleast we are on the same venue! : )

I made 3 layouts for Jeff on our anniversary. I'm sharing with you two of those layouts.

3 days after our anniversary (Dec. 17), I celebrated my 30th birthday! I'm getting old! Here's a photo of me and Ethan blowing the candle. Of course, Ethan had to be with me when I blow my candle! We went to my tita's house in the evening who happens to be celebrating her bday on the same date! So, libre na party ko hahaha. We didn't stay that long because we had late dinner pa at Pizza Hut after.

And here's another layout I finished last December. I know it's not time for Halloween layouts but I have had this photo for weeks and I really want to scrap it. What I really love about this layout is the handcut owls!

I still have 2 more layouts I made for Scrapbukan. But I'd be submitting it to Sahrie first, wait till she posts it at the gallery and share it here : )

That's it for now. I'd be posting more of our Holiday kwentos in awhile!
