Dad Caught A ...

What did Daddy catch at the garden? Find out and see ...

Actually, this photo was taken at the village clubhouse. Ethan just came from Working Mom Magazine's photo shoot (the photos were featured at WM's October issue) and he wouldn't let us remove his face paint - he loved the look so much! So, what does a mommy scrapper do with that kind of situation? Of course, take advantage of it! Ethan was very cooperative while his photos were being taken. This photo is one of my favorites.

I finished this layout almost three weeks ago but failed to post it here at once hehehe. : )

So, where you able to find out what did Daddy catch? Let me know, ok? ; D

Tears {BasicGrey Infuse}

Here's a layout I made for Scrapbukan using my BG Infuse Kit.

Ethan was having tantrums as I took this photo hehehe. He probably thought I'd stop pressing the shutter just because he was crying! Well, he stopped crying anyway ... good thing I got some good shots! Oh the things a mommy scrapper would do ; D

Special thanks to my friend Nina for all the help : )

Little Lady {Daisy Bucket Designs}

I made a layout for Ria's "Little Lady", Bianca. For Bianca's layout, I decided to play with the Daisy Bucket Clearly Petite Stamps.

The flower embellishments were made using the "Petunia" and the "Stitched Daisy small" stamps. I stamped them on paper, cut and layered the two together. My favorite embellishment for this layout is the "Daisy Bucket" stamp I put on Bianca's hand. I tied the stamped image with a ribbon which actually matches the color of the ribbon on Bianca's hat.

Materials used: Daisy Bucket Clearly Petite Stamps - Alpha, Daisy Bucket, Petunia and Stitched Daisy small, Ribbon elements - Neopolitan, Magical Moments papers - Debbie's Dragonflies, Amylynn's Afghan, Brecken's Blossoms and Ring Around the Rosies, brown cardstock, mulberry paper, Colorbox ink, Sakura gellryroll and Uniball signo pens

Thanks Ria for letting me use Bianca's photo!

Cutie Pie {Daisy Bucket Designs}

Three weeks ago, I recieved my box full of Clearly Petite Stamps and ribbons from Daisy Bucket! (Thanks Cassandra!)

I was excited to play with my ribbons; I used it to create a layout for the "Cutie Pie" Kalea, Kitkat's daughter. To create the title, I covered alpha chipboard with "Poolside" ribbon. What I love about the DBD ribbons is that they're like paper, you can fold or press them, they adhere easily so making the title wasn't that hard at all. I also folded a "Keylime" ribbon to make the stem of the flower. The ribbons could also be shredded - look at the small strings that I tied on both sides of the bookplate.

Materials used: Daisy Bucket Bloomin' Paislies papers and tag elements - Delightfully Delia (back side), Heidi's Hodgepodge, Captivating Kelly, Enchanting Emery, Perfectly Piper ; DBD Ribbon Elements - Keylime and Poolside; brad; Gin X alpha coasters; letter stickers; Zig Writer pen; Colorbox ink

Natural Beauty {Daisy Bucket Designs}

This is one of my ways to share the many blessings that have been coming my way. I thought of asking my close friends for photos and scrap them using my Daisy Bucket papers. This is my second RAK, the first one being was the "Bloom" layout I made for Arlene's daughter, Reese.

Yes, you are not mistaken, you are looking at my layout, this is not Iris' blog hehehe! I finished this layout for Nicole (Iris' lovely daughter) almost 2 weeks ago but I waited for this LO to appear first at the DBD gallery. I truly enjoyed creating this one ... scrapping a Natural Beauty like Nicole! I love that the pps matched her clothes. Using flower embellishments is something that's not new for me but I don't usually add on my layouts - I find this a great opportunity to do things I don't commonly do.

If you noticed, I have been using white space now in my layouts. Well, I suppose "I'm the one who needs space and my layouts reflect them" hahaha! Seriuosly though, almost if not all my previous LOs have so many elements on it, I think for a change I needed my layouts to "breathe". So, expect most (maybe not all) that I will share in the future will have white space.

By the way, the previous week has been quite productive for me too. Before we left for Palawan for the long weekend, I was able to finish 3 layouts (one for Scrapbukan so I need to wait till Sahrie posts it at the Scrapbukan gallery) including this one. To date, I finished 3 more! I'll share them as soon as they're posted at the DBD gallery!

Layout title: Natural Beauty
materials used: Daisy Bucket Bloomin' Paislies (Heidi's Hodgepodge, Perfectly Piper, Bewitching Bryleigh and Captivating Kelli), silk flowers, brads, BG Obscure alpha stickers (courtesy of Scrapbukan), American Crafts alpha rub ons, brads, Zig Writre pen, Colorbox ink

Cars Make the World Go Round

If I'm not mistaken, I finished this layout 5 months ago! For some reasons, I have forgotten all about it until I saw it in one of my old albums.

The photo was taken at Ethan's 2nd birthday party when all of us were busy watching the magic show and here he was playing with his cars! He really loves cars to the bones ... and he can be really quiet and indulged in his own "car world" whenever he's playing.

I placed a hidden journaling under the photo which can be pulled using the arrow.

Materials used: Bazzill cardstock, Sassafras Lass Playtime-Hunky Dory and That a Way, Gin X Scientifically Weird paper and Rings, Cherry Arte (stars), Fancy Pants Biggest Board, acrylic paint, Paper Salon (notebook paper), Zig Writer pen, 7Gypsies sticker (mine), Colorbox ink, metal washers, Sizzix Ransom
